Choosing an Agent

If you don’t already have a relationship with a Real Estate Agents, do some research, ask a friend or neighbor for a referral or schedule some listing interviews.

Every market is different and resort communities are especially unique.  Your agent should be very familiar with the local inventory, the current market in that area, have a good relationship with other local agents and be successful at closing deals. In a competitive market, a knowledgable agent is crucial.

Be sure to hire an agent who you communicate well with and who is willing and able to answer any and all questions that you might have about the home selling process. Your agent should truly listen to you and have a good understanding of your goals for selling your home.

Look for a Real Estate Agents, rather than simply just a real estate agent. Agents who are designated as Real Estate Agents are part of the National Association of Real Estate Agents (NAR) and are required to adhere to a strict code of ethics during every transaction.
